Sunday Lately #160

Sunday Lately #160

Sunday Lately is a weekly link-up hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is being fearlessly led by Angelica, Meghan, Katy, and Nicole. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the most recent week of life in our own worlds. We'd love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Getting, using, and photographing.

Getting

Excited about my last semester of graduate school! It's time, y'all. I'm so ready to move on from higher education. It's been a great last six years, but I'm itching to move on to greener pastures (and a well-paying job!). There's quite a few tasks (i.e. comprehensive exams, directed research, etc.) to complete before I graduate in May, so I'm ready to get moving and knock it all out as soon as I can. Only three and a half months to go - eeek!

Using

A new planning system to stay on top of tasks and responsibilities for my blog and shop. I'm using an Erin Condren coiled notebook with the productivity pages. So far, I really like this method of planning because it gives me ample space to make long to-do lists, take notes, and add some colorful Post-It notes to organize topics and theme. This is still a work in progress, but I'm definitely enjoying this method over my teeny-tiny planner.

Photographing

South Central Texas' second bit winter-y weather of the season! It's surprising that we even received a first snowfall last month, so this week's frigid conditions were just flat out bizarre. A third of the State of Texas was under a winter storm advisory at the beginning of the week, so naturally just about everything was shut down to prevent unexperienced folks (myself included!) from driving in icy and snowy conditions.

I hope everyone had a lovely week! Next week’s themes are: Hiding, quoting, and telling. If you'd like, feel free to join us!
